Dr. Catherine Jui-Ling Liu is a professor of Ophthalmology, the School of Medicine at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taipei, Taiwan. She was chairperson of the Department of Ophthalmology, Taipei Veterans General Hospital from 2015 to 2022, and the immediate past President of the Ophthalmological Society of Taiwan (TOS) from 2017 to 2020. Now she serves as a senior attending physician in the same hospital and an executive board member of the TOS.

Prof. Liu has been the executive secretary and a board member of the Asia-Oceanic Glaucoma Society, the President of the Asia-Pacific Joint Glaucoma Congress held in 2010, one of the steering committee members who facilitated the establishment of Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society (APGS), and now a board member of the APGS. She has been dedicated to clinical practice and research in the field of glaucoma, as well as medical education and prevention of blindness, for more than 35 years. Dr. Liu has published more than 140 peer-reviewed articles, is an invited commentator in International Glaucoma Review, and has served as a reviewer for several prestigious journals including Ophthalmology, Archives of Ophthalmology, British Journal of Ophthalmology and Eye, now she is Associate Editor-in-Chief in Taiwan Journal of Ophthalmology.

Dr Dewang Angmo completed her undergraduate training MBBS from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), Delhi University and joined her postgraduation MD (Ophthalmology) training from Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences (RPC), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. She then completed her Senior Residency in Glaucoma, Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery services from RPC, AIIMS followed by DNB, FRCS(Glasg), FICO(UK) and MNAMS degrees. She also did an observership in Glaucoma from Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), Singapore. Thereafter, she joined as Senior Research associate in RPC, AIIMS. She is currently working as Additional Professor at Dr RPC, AIIMS, New Delhi since 2016.

Dr. Angmo has co-authored over 100 peer reviewed research papers in Ophthalmology. She has authored/ edited 4 text books in Glaucoma and has over 50 chapters in various national and international textbooks. Her research areas include the specialities of Glaucoma, Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

She has received research awards and Young Investigator awards by various international and national societies like the World Glaucoma Congress (2015; HongKong, 2019 Australia), Asia ARVO (2015; Japan), and the Delhi Ophthalmological Society (2015,2020), AIIMS Research Award 2019, APAO-LDP 2023, APGC-2024. She has presented her original clinical and research work as scientific papers and has participated as faculty in several national and international conferences of her specialty.

Associate Professor Yanin Suwan obtained a medical degree with first-class honors from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. She also completed a Diploma in Ophthalmology at Prince of Songkla University, Thailand, and Glaucoma Fellowship training at Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok. Subsequently, she received a Certificate in Glaucoma Fellowship from the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai in New York, USA.

She currently holds several appointments, including the position of glaucoma in Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. Additionally, she serves as the secretary for the Thai Glaucoma Society.

Her interests are not limited to glaucoma, ocular pathology and ocular imaging; she is also interested in cataract surgery, particularly in cataract treatment for glaucoma patients, as well as glaucoma surgery and MIGS. As a trainer, she actively participates in mentoring and engages in glaucoma and ocular imaging research, both at the local and international levels. She published 34 papers in peer-review journals. Furthermore, as an expert, she is regularly invited to speak and chair sessions at various national and international scientific conferences and serves as an invited reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed journals in the field of ophthalmology.
